Camille Young

I’m a tax preparer at Xpatax Solutions, where I help clients cut through the complexity of their filings to understand what’s reportable and what they owe. I hold a degree in accountancy, which gives me a strong analytical and technical grounding in finance and business, but what I feel sets me apart is the way I pair that technical training with a genuinely empathetic approach to client communication. Taxes intimidate a lot of people, and I see my job as guiding them through the process and giving them peace of mind, which is easily the most rewarding part of my work. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and I carry the cultural perspective and foundational values of my home country into everything I do. My move to the United States in 2024 marked a major turning point; one that pushed me well outside my comfort zone and, looking back, crystallized my career path. Navigating such a significant international transition taught me resilience, open-mindedness, and a lasting drive for continuous self-discovery and professional growth. That drive shapes my personal philosophy: to always pursue continuous learning and to treat every new experience and challenge as an opportunity to improve, both personally and professionally. I credit my progress to consistency and discipline, and I find ongoing motivation in everyday experiences, the challenge of adapting to new environments, and the steady pursuit of self-improvement. Outside of work, I love baking, doing Pilates at home, seeking out new coffee shops, and streaming a good rom-com.
